Sweet UC powered by Kandy
Sweet UC powered by Kandy is not only a Hosted PBX service, but is much more. It includes Unified Communication features like Video and Instant Messaging, so users can communicate at their desk and on the go.
Through a partnership with Ribbon Communications, Skyway West is delivering their Kandy suite of services and branding it in Canada as Sweet UC.
A Cloud PBX is at the heart of Sweet UC and is the future of business communications. Sweet UC replaces the need for an on-premises Phone System, so the result is a more cost-effective business-class telephone service. It is cheaper to deploy and offers integrated collaboration and mobility services. Users are more focused, engaged and effective.
Sweet UC powered by Kandy extends the reach of the desktop phone to computers, smartphones and tablets. Users can be anywhere and still be “in-the-office”, making and receiving calls on virtually any device. Unified Communications features are also included. Features like presence, instant messaging, video calling, conferencing and collaboration.
Sweet UC can include Office Collaboration Rooms, making it easy for groups to connect and collaborate. Users get their own virtual meeting room to share their screen or individual applications, like Word or PowerPoint. Participants can join over the phone or via multi-party video sessions. It’s easy to start a session from a desktop client or simply login from any web browser. Easily invite participants from anywhere in the world, because all they need is a web browser.
Sweet UC has made it easy for developers to embed voice, video and all things RTC (real time communications) within applications, in a manner that is robust and highly scalable. Easily leverage HTML5 and WebRTC to integrate with Lync, Salesforce, Google Apps, as well as IBM Connections and Sametime. As well, pre-built, pre-packaged Kandy Wrappers extend UC features to existing apps or websites.
